Every year Spirituality & Practice reviews hundreds of recent books and films and publishes hundreds of book excerpts. We now have a database of more than 12,000 reviews and 4,500 excerpts.
We encourage you to search this unique database for resources for your spiritual journey. Since we do not do negative reviews, you will only find what we recommend.
These searches are based on the coding done by S&P’s editors that appears in the "Related" column of our reviews. You can use this search engine to curate our content and design your own spiritual quests.
Here are some tips for good searches in the Reviews Database.
• For the most precise searches, use the Title and Name fields.
• Use the Format field to limit a search.
• You can search for more than one criteria at the same time. For example, you can search for all books (format) about Buddhism (tradition) or all book excerpts (format) by a particular author (first name, last name).
• You can also search for resources on one of the 700+ keywords we use in our coding. If you don't find what you are looking for , you can use the site search at the very top of this page.
